Adult Gel Plate Workshop! MonoPRINT Mania: Print, Play, Repeat! Wed. 4/30 6:30
April 30th! Discover the magic of gelli printing in this fun, hands-on 2-hour workshop designed for adults of all skill levels! Every print is a creation all its own - no two are ever the same. Explore the exciting possibilities of layering, texture, and color as we dive into a variety of techniques, including stencil printing, ghost printing, back painting, and design layering.
Ever struggled with image transfers? We'll go over the trick you might be missing to get crisp, successful transfers using magazine images. Plus, you'll learn how to use your prints in collage and mixed media projects, giving you endless creative possibilities.
By the end of this workshop, you'll have a collection of unique prints and textured collage papers to take home. All materials are provided - just bring your creativity!
Want to experiment further? Feel free to bring:
- Stencils
- Magazines (Vogue, Elle, and Marie Claire work best for transfers)
- Soft, found objects for texture
- Any paper you'd like to test

About the Artist:
Heather Carey is a West Chester native with a lifelong love for art, people, and animals. She has a Fine Arts degree and spent 25 years working as an art therapist for adults with mental and physical disabilities. Her love for art grew as she watched their eyes fill with joy while creating things with their own hands. Please keep an eye out for Heather's many upcoming workshops. Her talents are endless!
