2/19! Bespoke Candle Workshop: Create your one-of-a-kind candle and petite watercolor painting!
Do you love vintage treasures, handcrafted charm, or items that have been upcycled with care? Join us at the Free Range Art Studio for a creative and relaxing workshop where you’ll learn to make/pour your own soy candles in unique vintage or antique vessels! At this workshop we will use tea cups. Enjoy making a natural candle: These natural, vegan, phthalate-free, plant-based soy wax candles are not only stunning home décor but also make thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gifts. See below for candle-making details and how you will craft your candle. While your candle "sets" we will enjoy hot tea, cookies and watercolor painting!
Bring a friend, BYOB, and enjoy complimentary hot tea, cookies, and painting as you dive into this hands-on experience!
What to Expect
• Choose Your Vessel: When you arrive, you’ll select a one-of-a-kind vintage or antique container to use as your candle holder. Each piece is carefully curated to give your candle an elegant, unique touch.
• Pick Your Fragrance: Customize your candle with your favorite fragrance! Choose from a variety of seasonal and classic scents—or even blend your own for the perfect aroma.
• Create Your Candle: Follow our simple, step-by-step process as we guide you through melting the soy wax, blending your fragrance, and carefully pouring the wax into your chosen vessel.
Workshop Details
• Where: The Free Range Art Studio, located upstairs in The Carriage House Collective, 381 Brinton Lake Road, Thornton, PA
• Cost: Includes all tools, materials, and complimentary hot tea. Just bring yourself (and maybe an adult beverage to share with your friends)!
This workshop is perfect for anyone who loves vintage style, handmade crafts, or gifting something truly special. Your candle will need additional time to solidify after the pour. Usually, they set in about an hour. If the weather is warm or your vessel is a bit larger, you may need to pick up your finished candle at a later time. We can always arrange a convenient time for you to return, but we will also have watercolor paintings of critters in tea cups for you to enjoy painting while you wait!
