After-school kids' art and design program!  "Crafts & Kindness Club" is a unique art class/club for kids in grades 2-6.  These lucky kids will learn a new skill, handcraft something for themselves, and also make another for someone they've never met.  (1 for me / 1 for you).  They will be exposed to the nonprofits for which they are "creating/crafting" and learn about the missions and the "why".  The kids' projects will be discussed and designed with an emphasis on how it will positively affect the recipeints;  how it will be given with the expectation that there is nothing received in return.  These after-school "Crafts & Kindness" kids will be working with durable mixed materials... acrylic paints, alcohol inks, polymer clay, needle felting, copper, jewelry, glass, leather, wood...

The goal is to not only expand their artistic abilities but also their hearts by developing a philanthropic mindset at a young age.  The club will be held from 4:15-6:15 after school and snacks are welcome (as long as we do not have a participant with serious food allergies).  The upcoming dates for the Winter session are:  1/20, 2/3, 2/17, 3/3, 3/17, 3/31,  and a bonus/makeup class on 4/21.  This is a drop off club and the cost is $29/session and the sessions must be purchased for the entire 6-week block.  There will be an "open studio" session on  4/21 which is open and available to every club student for making up projects from missed club dates or just to come and do some more of whatever they enjoyed.

Crafts & Kindness Club: Winter Session (6 weeks)

  • Unfortunately, due to the nature of the classes, materials used, and time constraints, no refunds for missed classes will be given.  There is, however, a make-up "open session" available at the end of the 6 weeks.  That date is  Monday April 21st (4:15-6:15) and that time can be spent making up or finishing projects.  Thank you for your understanding!
