Join artist Heather Carey for an informative and fun evening of watercolor painting at the Free Range Art Studio.
Start taking photos of your favorite pet (or your significant other's favorite pet). These watercolor portraits make fantastic gifts for Valentines Day! This is a fun, relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop. The first step after registering is to email a photo of your pet to our artist, Heather Carey. Heather will pre-sketch your pet so that you can learn the ins and outs of watercolor painting the night of our workshop and you will leave with a finished painting that YOU did!
Start taking photos now and send them to Heather prior to the workshop to ensure Heather has enough time to pre-sketch it. Photos can be sent to: heathercareystudios@gmail.com with the name/date of the workshop in the subject line.
Doors open at 6 pm and you are welcome to bring your favorite food/drink. Our workshops at Free Range Art are all about learning something new and enjoying the time to meet with friends or make new connections! All supplies are provided and this workshop is beginner friendly.

Heather Carey is a West Chester native with a lifelong love for animals and art. She has a Fine Arts degree and spent 25 years working as an art therapist for adults with mental and physical disabilities. Her love for art grew as she watched their eyes fill with joy while creating things with their own hands. Please keep an eye out for Heather's many upcoming workshops. Her talents are endless!
