My New Best Friend: Back-to-School Puppy Workshop! Tues, Aug 25th10-2:00

Back-to-School Puppy Adoption Day!  Mini Camp Day!
Tuesday, August 25 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Ages 5–10
 
Get ready for a day filled with creativity, imagination, and one very special new friend!
Each young artist will begin the day by adopting their very own 8" puppy. They'll fluff and stuff their new companion, tuck a special heart inside, give them a name, and make it official with their own adopted pup to love and take home.
Then it's time to head back-to-school "shopping"!   We will "shop" for a tiny backpack and shoes and  some tiny accessories and then MAKE our own backpack charms and/or dog tag.  Every child will design a custom t-shirt for their puppy and make some fun accessories to get their furry friend ready for the first day of school.
 
Our artists will create a polymer clay initial backpack charm for themselves - and if they'd like, they can make a matching charm for their puppy's backpack or dog collar, too!
 
We'll wrap up the day with a cheerful puppy-themed painting, creating a colorful keepsake inspired by their newest four-legged friend.  This imaginative workshop is filled with art, storytelling, hands-on creating for younger kids, and plenty of opportunities for children to personalize every detail. It's the perfect way to celebrate a new school year while making a lovable companion they'll treasure long after camp is over!
