Our Tween/Teen Art night is perfect for kids ages 10+. No experience is necessary, but yet those with more experience in art are encouraged to move forward and experiment and are given the freedom to grow.  
This is a fun, laid-back "art experience" that brings kids together and allows them to play with ART! 
On Tuesday, 2/18, we will be learning about etching and using scratch boards to create impressive, high quality images that are both graphic and fun. By controlling the depth of their cut/scratch, the sudents control how light their image will get. The harder they press, the lighter their image line. This process is helped along by transferring an image using a chalky white transfer material beforehand. We encourage the students to work on images that have fur, scales, or texture.

Doors open at 5:30 and kids are welcome to bring their dinner and eat in the studio. This evening class is open to all students ages 10 and up and we heartily encourage older teens to attend so there is no upper age limit. Again, this is an instructional class with guidance and as-needed/friendly support to help immerse your tween/teen in different art mediums and techniques but not feel like "school". 
 Reserve your space early before these tween/teen events fill up. Maximum class size is 10 students.
