Spring Break! Ceramic Bird Feeder Workshop with Potter Terri Davis of Sweet Songs Pottery! March 31st, 9am-12pm
Join us for a fun and creative morning working with stoneware clay at the Free Range Art Studio!
In this hands-on ceramic workshop, kids ages 9 and up will learn slab building techniques to design and create their very own bird feeder. Participants will shape their feeder from clay, then add personality with colorful glaze patterns and decorative details.
Once the kids complete their portion, Terri will carefully fire each piece in her kiln. Finished bird feeders will be ready for pick up in a few weeks - perfect for adding a handmade touch to your family's backyard, garden, or for gifting to a nature-loving friend. No prior experience needed - kids will feel so successful having this opportunity to work with clay, and they will be so impressed with themselves when they see their gorgeous, functional bird feeder when it is ready to go home!

Some people say we're a "hidden gem", and we kind of like that! We're close to major roads and some of the area's best shopping/dining, yet we are right off some of the most beautiful rural roads in southeastern PA. We are located at 381 Brinton Lake Road, Thornton, PA 19373.
We are located behind the historic Mill (the Offices at the Mill). When you enter the parking lot, immediately turn right and go behind the main building. We are a short drive down the gravel lane and are in the smaller "Carriage House Collective" building behind the main building. We are on the 2nd floor!
Our studio is up the exterior staircase! We can't wait to welcome you or your children to our cozy space!
