Spring Break: Creating Harmony! When ART & Music Collide, Thurs. 4/2 1-4:00
Creating Harmony: Music + Art Workshop!
Thursday, April 2 | Spring Break | Ages 5 - 15
What happens when music and art collide? You get rhythm, color, texture - and a whole lot of creative energy. In Creating Harmony, students will explore the powerful connection between sound and visual art through hands-on, imaginative projects inspired by music past and present.
During this workshop, students will:
Paint and heat-mold recycled vinyl records to create sculptural bowls and functional art
Upcycle old records in creative ways, turning music into visual design
Design album cover art inspired by a favorite quote, song lyric, band, singer, or song title
Explore iconic album covers through the years and discover how art and music influence each other
Create wearable art by combining guitar charms, beads, and metal elements into music-inspired necklaces
Younger artists (ages 5–7) will receive plenty of guidance and hands-on support, while older students (8–15) will have the freedom to experiment, design, and make bold creative choices - with help always nearby.
This workshop celebrates creativity, reuse, self-expression, and storytelling, showing kids how music doesn’t just live in our ears - it can live in color, shape, texture, and design too.
A mixed-media art workshop where students turn music into art - and art into something they can use, wear, and display!

How to Find Us!
Some people say we're a "hidden gem", and we kind of like that! We're close to major roads and some of the area's best shopping/dining, yet we are right off some of the most beautiful rural roads in southeastern PA. We are located at 381 Brinton Lake Road, Thornton, PA 19373.
We are located behind the historic Mill (the Offices at the Mill). When you enter the parking lot, immediately turn right and go behind the main building. We are a short drive down the gravel lane and are in the smaller "Carriage House Collective" building behind the main building. We are on the 2nd floor!
Our studio is up the exterior staircase! We can't wait to welcome you or your children to our cozy space!
