TWEEN/TEEN ART NIGHT: Watercolor Crystals! Tuesday 10/22/2024

Create colorful art with uncommon watercolor painting supplies in this art class for tweens/teens!  In this hands-on workshop, the students will learn how to paint using watercolor crystals.  These crystals can be sprinkled onto a wet paper and they will spread in an explosion of color.  But yet, they can be controlled when mixed on a palette as if they were regular, vibrant watercolors.  They make a magical background and can be manipulated to add interest and color to any painting.  If your tween/teen would like to paint a watercolor background with a more "defined" image as the central focus, please email a picture over ahead of time and we can have it ready to use as a reference.  This class will be informative and is absolutely beginner friendly. Free Range Art's "tween/teen" art classes are designed especially for kids ages 10+ and are perfect for grades 5-9. Our classes emphasize the process of making art, allowing students to enjoy the experience without worrying about keeping up with others. Our multi-media projects inspire creativity and keep your young person engaged and excited about art. Class is from 5:30-7:45 and food is allowed if the kids want to bring dinner or snacks.
