Kids Parties

We are so honored to host your parties, and in light of the demand, we are currently booking parties for
mid-February of 2026 and beyond. 

We host art workshops in honor of your child's Birthday so you can enjoy the entire fun-filled creative experience!!!  Free Range Art parties are fabulous, no-stress, kid-engaging, "art happiness" birthday experiences for children at our Thornton, PA studio within the Carriage House Collective.

A few important notes:
We host parties for Birthday children who are turning 6 years old, minimum.  While we would love to also celebrate the younger kiddos, we find that our projects, the materials, and our calendar accomodate this age bracket best.  There is no upper age limit to our parties.  We DO host age-appropriate parties for teens and we also host private art workshops for adults so they can celebrate their birthdays! (We can include a participant or two at parties if they are younger than 6 years old, as we want to be able to include family members and close friends that might be a bit younger and completely understand that situation!)  

Cost (New for 2026):
We have 2 party concepts! 
 
The Mini Party: For our smaller, more intimate celebrations, we have a 1.5 hour package that includes 1 beautiful art workshop project for smaller groups, and we provide 1 party host/artist for instruction.  This celebration is $250 for up to 6 participants and is held in our quaint studio on the 2nd floor of the Carriage House Collective.  You can bring your own food/drink/decorations, and the studio space is yours while we host a private art experience for the guest of honor and up to 5 of his/her friends.  All art materials are included. (Up to 2 additional kids can be accomodated for $30/each)

The Full Studio Party:  For our larger, full-scale celebrations, we offer a 2-hour package that includes 2 artistic projects with a larger scope!  This celebration incudes 2 multi-step, multi-material projects, plus two party hosts/artists for instruction!  This package includes use of the downstairs party room for cake, cupcakes, food, and celebrating the Birthday guest of honor, too!  The cost is $425 for up to 11 participants and includes both the studio space upstairs along with the party room downstairs, and art projects for the guest of honor and up to 10 of his/her friends.  We typically start with the first project upstairs and then break half-way through so you can celebrate in the cute party room with cupcakes etc., and then you return back upstairs and we finish up with a 2nd project.  You can bring your own food/drink/decorations and set up a half hour prior to the event.  All art materials are included. (Up to 3 additional kids can be accomodated for $30/each).  

Free Range Art has tons of party concepts.  Below, you can fill out a form to contact us with any questions you might have, and your preferred date for a party, and we can let you know if we have availability.  We offer a variety of painting, stuffed animal building/stuffing, polymer clay, inks, jewelry, book decorating, suncatchers, magic wands,  painted boxes, needle felting, succulent gardens, and more!

Need ideas for your child?! Some creative gatherings in the past have included: 
Paint a canvas & make watercolor pendant necklaces;  paint old vinyl records and make friendship bracelets or necklaces;  build a puppy stuffed animal, craft a puppy collar, and paint a small canvas;  hammer a metal stamped tag and rivet it to a hand-dyed leather bracelet;  paint a disco ball, make Taylor Swift friendship bracelets and paint a simple portrait of Taylor;  use gold coins to buy an owl from the Hogwart's Owlery, stuff the owl stuffed animal, write letters with invisible ink, and make a magic wand; paint a celestial sky scene and make/bake adorable polymer clay wizards; paint a K-Pop Demon Hunters Canvas and make a Derpy mini clay backpack dangler; paint a Wicked themed canvas and make a necklace with pink/green movie motifs;  paint a unicorn or dragon themed canvas and add small unicorn or dragon stuffed animals and beaded collars for them that can be worn as bracelets; paint a watercolor dragon, frame it, and make a clay dragon eye to attach to the frame for a one-of-a kind art piece...
