OUR STORY
Free Range Art teaches the WONDER of ART! We create unique multi-step art workshops, parties, and experiences offering participants the chance to explore art in the world around them in new and diverse ways. The studio in Thornton Pennsylvania is filled with art exploration, hammering wood, connecting metal, burning wood, sculpting polymer clay, blending watercolors, using feather quills and ink, gelli plate printing, and lots and lots of paint!
Free Range Art workshops have opened doors for so many people. Students grow and see themselves as artists in their own right. Those who originally didn't think they were "artistic" learn that being artistic/creative is a way of seeing things... it's a different way of thinking. Classes and workshops have grown into many more options in multiple disciplines... from kids' painting/drawing to teen jewelry-making to homeschool fresco painting to windchimes to "parent's night out" to "tween/teen evenings" to "homeschool art enrichment" to "scout badge workshops" and even adult classes!
Free Range Art is located in Thornton PA in the "Carriage House Collective" behind the Mill Offices on Brinton Lake Road. Now offering classes for kids AND adults in our studio and new event space! We teach painting, alcohol inks, leather bracelets, glass pendants, painting with coffee, and more!
Nothing we do is ordinary and it is our joy to bring you the extraordinary in art experiences!

We love animals.
The psychological benefits are manyfold. From infancy through to our golden years, humans (that's all of us!) are capable of reaping the benefits of animals. Whether you are interacting with a beloved pet in your home or an outdoor farm animal, the benefits are countless.
As humans, we need social interaction, stimulation, and physical contact. Animals provide a healthy perspective and balance of unconditional love and acceptance. On occasion, we might bring an animal to art class to provide inspiration and delight to our class members as long as we know that there are no animal allergies. Please let us know if you or your child has an allergy to animals! The same goes for NATURE! Please let us know of any allergies, as we will both bring nature indoors and take the students outdoors when possible.
