Adult Needle-Felted Hearts Workshop! Thurs, Feb. 5th 6:30-8:30 pm
Thursday night, February 5th | 6:30-8:30
Adults! Join us in the studio for needle felting with Farren!
Join us in spreading the love and making a pair of wooly valentines: one for you and one to gift!
Each participant will go home with two delightful hearts made out out of sustainable dyed wool. Pick from a rainbow of bright colors and add your very own design on top: flowers, initials or a "be mine"...the options are endless. Choose to finish your hearts with some thread to create hanging pieces of art or leave as is as a reminder of the love all around us. Wool also makes a great carrier for essential oils, too! These make beautiful gifts with a ribbon attached to the top or a gift of essential oils and a special bowl or dish.
Needle felting is addictive, and knowing the right techniques and tools of the trade makes it even more enjoyable! In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will learn how to make 2 beautiful wool HEARTS. Needle felting is a process that sculpts wool into any shape you can imagine. In this workshop, we will learn how to shape our wool into 2 different hearts! What designs will YOU choose? Surface decorations and embellishments have no limitations...do you love botanical shapes? These would be beautiful with leaves and florals wrapping around the heart. Or do you love a stripe and dot? Easy peasy!
A little more about needle felting: Wool fibers are covered with scales. In needle felting, we use special barbed needles that lock the scales of the fiber together when we intersect the wools by poking them and interlocking them. What this looks like in "real time" is stabbing fluffy, colorful wool over and over with sharp needles. The talented, experienced local fiber artist Farren will provide a beautiful variety of fibers for this project. This is a beginner-friendly class.

Our artists prepare and purchase materials for each individual workshop and rely on the headcounts we provide to them along the way. Thank you for understanding! If you would like to gift or sell your seat to another person, we would be happy to make a name change for you.
If, for some reason, you cannot attend - and also cannot find a friend to take your spot - please email us, and if there is a waitlist, we might be able to refund you and transfer your spot to another participant, but only if there is a waitlist with a participant who can attend. We are happy to try!
