Adult Winter Themed Card-Making Workshop | Saturday, December 5th | 1-3:00

There's something magical about handmade cards during the holiday season. Join us for a cozy afternoon of Winter and Holiday-themed card and tag-making, where you'll learn artistic techniques while creating beautiful cards and gift tags to share with the people you love.

Together, you'll explore:

The art of stamping — create crisp, beautiful images using stamps, ink pads, and stamping platforms, with snowmen, snowflakes, and festive holiday motifs.

Ink blending techniques — blend colors smoothly to create dreamy winter skies, frosty backgrounds, and warm holiday tones.

Texture and dimension — experiment with stencils and embossing folders that transform paper into layered, snowy works of art.

Special finishing touches — add sparkle, shine, and embellishments (including glitter paste!) to make each card uniquely your own.

Several finished cards — ready to gift, display, or send to loved ones for Christmas, Hanukkah, or the season in general. There's something special about giving a handmade card. It's more than paper and ink... It's time spent, creativity shared, and a reminder to someone that they matter, especially during the holidays.

Our instructor, Hong Bloom, has been making and designing cards for over 15 years and loves sharing her knowledge in a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere. Whether this is your first card or your fiftieth, you'll leave inspired and proud of what you've created. What to bring: Just yourself and your creativity! All materials are provided, including stamps, inks, cardstock, dies, adhesives, embossing tools, and embellishments. Create something beautiful enough to give away this holiday season.

  • Hong Bloom discovered the art of cardmaking about 15 years ago as a personal hobby — and what began as a creative outlet quickly grew into a deep passion. Over the years, Hong has immersed herself in a wide range of cardmaking techniques, from stamping and ink blending to stenciling, embossing, and the sparkly satisfaction of glitter gel and shaker cards. What keeps Hong coming back to the craft table is the whole experience — the joy of experimenting with new techniques, the delight of placing a handmade card in someone's hands, and the warm, creative community that cardmaking naturally brings together. For Hong, every card is an opportunity to make someone feel seen, celebrated, and loved. After 15 years of honing her skills and building a deep library of techniques, Hong is thrilled to share her love of cardmaking with others. Her teaching style is encouraging, approachable, and full of enthusiasm — perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike.
