Adults: Learn to Knit! Tuesday Evenings 6:30-8 pm,Starts 1/20/26
Adults! Learn how to knit!
Have you always wanted to know how to knit? Would you like to meet other like-minded adults? Would you love a new, creative hobby? If so, our series of workshops on Tuesday evenings is perfect for you! Make something beautiful and earthy that you can wear...fingerless gloves OR a cowl. Both projects are beautiful and beginner-friendly with our skilled and fun instructor, Eiren!
In this series of workshops, you will learn the basics and successfully build on your skills each week and finish the series with a new creative outlet! When you register, you can select your project: either a knitted cowl neck or fingerless gloves. Your series of workshops includes 3 workshop evenings for the price of $105, PLUS 1 free makeup/bonus class at the end that everyone can attend, whether you missed a night or not. Throughout the workshops, you will learn the fundamentals of knitting, taught with step-by-step instruction and patience in a warm and supportive environment.
Taught at the Free Range Art Studio by artist Eiren Graver, the workshop dates are: 1/20, 1/27, 2/3, and a bonus/makeup class on 2/10. These classes are from 6:30-8:00 pm. The bonus class is intended to compensate for any missed workshops. We do not offer refunds for missed classes/workshops and provide the additional class for free as an opportunity to make up a missed class.
This is a byo food/drink class, so if you have food allergies, please email us to let us know so we can inform the class. Our email is freerangeartclasses@gmail.com
About Eiren Graver:
Eiren has been teaching multiple disciplines of art for many years. After a 2-decade career encouraging children and adults to express their authentic and creative voices, she finally decided to take her own advice in 2020. You can now find Eiren's fine art and illustrations in numerous galleries and at events across the Delaware Valley. She is grateful every day for the ability to choose art and her own fulfillment. Eiren is a painter, fiber artist, and all around creative.
From Eiren's website: "Again and again in my life I have turned to nature for reassurance. I have found meaning, beauty, and healing in her colors and textures: they pull at my heart and make me want to capture and share them. Whether I am working figuratively or in the abstract, I draw on this mysterious language to communicate the hope and comfort that I feel is so needed in our vast and hectically-paced world."
Eiren is a natural teacher and has just the right skill set to show our adult participants how to knit. We are so grateful to have found Eiren and witnessed her skills while she taught 15-20 kids how to hand-sew at a time during the Free Range Art Studio's summer camps! So impressive!
