Kids Crochet Mini Camp - Chickens!: July 15th, 10am - 4pm
Cozy Chickens: Crochet & Watercolor Mini Camp Ages 7–14 | Wednesday, July 15th, 10-4:00
If your child loves animals, art, and making things with their hands, they'll feel right at home in this charming, creative mini camp instructed by artist Eiren Graver!
Students will learn how to crochet their own tiny chicken - a delightful handmade pocket-sized friend they'll be proud to take home. Whether your child is brand new to crochet or already has a little experience, this beginner-friendly project provides a fun introduction to foundational crochet skills, including chain stitch, single crochet, shaping, and simple sewing techniques.
The creativity doesn't stop there! Inspired by our feathered friends, campers will also create whimsical chicken-themed artwork using watercolor paints, colored pencils, and, time permitting, a touch of beginner embroidery on paper. We'll experiment with soft watercolor washes, playful textures, and simple stitched details to create artwork full of personality and charm.
Throughout the day, children will enjoy a relaxed and encouraging studio environment where they can slow down, create, socialize, and build confidence while learning new skills. This 1-day mini camp is perfect for young makers who enjoy crafting, animals, fiber arts, and imaginative projects.
By the end of the workshop, your child will leave with a handmade crocheted chicken, original artwork, new creative skills, and the satisfaction of having created something entirely by hand.
All materials included. Please send your child with a packed lunch and a water bottle.

How to Find Us!
Some people say we're a "hidden gem", and we kind of like that! We're close to major roads and some of the area's best shopping/dining, yet we are right off some of the most beautiful rural roads in southeastern PA. We are located at 381 Brinton Lake Road, Thornton, PA 19373.
We are located behind the historic Mill (the Offices at the Mill). When you enter the parking lot, immediately turn right and go behind the main building. We are a short drive down the gravel lane and are in the smaller "Carriage House Collective" building behind the main building. We are on the 2nd floor!
Our studio is up the exterior staircase! We can't wait to welcome you or your children to our cozy space!
