Election Day, Tuesday November 3rd
9-12:00 or 1-4:00 (or the kids can join us for BOTH SESSIONS and stay for lunch!)
Ages 6-13
School’s out! - Step into a woodland world of glowing mushrooms, sparkling snails, and imaginative art! Join us at The Free Range Art Studio for two different workshops. Choose the morning, afternoon, or send your child(ren) to spend the whole day creating!
Morning | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM $65
Disco Snails & Glowing Mushrooms with Sara!
Deep in the Glow Grove lives a snail whose sparkling shell gathers bits of light. As evening comes, the mushrooms glow, revealing the entrance to its secret hideaway! Kids can decide who lives there, what the snail collects, and what other magical things grow nearby. Build a 3D woodland diorama featuring a clay snail with a mirrored disco-ball shell, a lighted pipe-cleaner mushroom, and a painted wood background. Students will add mossy details to bring their miniature forest to life!
Afternoon | 1:00–4:00 PM $65
Woodland Windows: Reverse Glass Painting & Frame Design with Tracy!
Kids will explore reverse glass painting as they create a woodland scene inspired by mushrooms, forest animals, or botanical details. Then, they can also personalize their frame with nature-inspired embellishments to complement their artwork if time allows. "Creation Stations" will be available for numerous free-spirited projects that the kids can explore, customizing their projects and their afternoon!
Staying for both? Save on both workshops and pay $120, giving your child a day of art from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Supervised lunch care is available from 12:00–1:00 PM for children attending both workshops. Bring a packed lunch and snacks to enjoy later.
Please let us know if your child has a food allergy so that we can safely allow for food choices in the studio.

Small Forest Wonders: An Enchanted Day of Art! Tues. Nov. 3rd (2 Workshops!)
Sara Przytulski is a Chester County, Pennsylvania-based artist. She began painting in 2021 and has since developed a vibrant, intuitive style inspired by nature, emotion, memory, and the little moments of magic found in everyday life. Working primarily in acrylic, Sara creates semi-abstract landscapes, florals, celestial scenes, and whimsical pieces that often incorporate bold color, texture, and metallic accents.
Sara’s creative practice is rooted in curiosity and allowing each painting to evolve organically rather than striving for perfection. In addition to creating original artwork, she teaches hands-on workshops and shares approachable painting tutorials designed to help others discover the joy of creating. Whether she’s painting, teaching, or experimenting with a new idea, Sara’s goal is to make art feel welcoming, playful, and accessible to everyone.
Tracy Taylor is the artist and educator behind the Free Range Art Studio. With a background in art and design and years of experience teaching students of all ages, Tracy especially loves helping people discover that creativity doesn’t have to be intimidating - or perfect - to be meaningful.
Her hands-on classes are built around exploration, experimentation, and the simple joy of making something with your own two hands. She works with a wide range of traditional and unexpected materials, with particular favorites including alcohol inks, polymer clay, jewelry making, mixed media, and even painting with coffee. Whether she’s teaching children, teens, homeschool students, or adults, Tracy’s goal is to create a relaxed environment where everyone feels comfortable trying something new and developing confidence in their own creative abilities.
Tracy grew up in Thornton and now lives in Unionville with her family and an ever-changing assortment of pets - including Lulu, a pot-bellied pig. That same sense of curiosity and playfulness finds its way into the studio, where a little mess, a lot of experimenting, and plenty of creative freedom are always welcome.
