Next 6-week session begins January 9thDesigned especially for younger, inquisitive homeschool artists, this playful and imaginative class introduces children ages 5–8 to the wide world of art. Each session weaves together storytime, creative exploration, and hands-on artmaking as students discover how artists, materials, and ideas all "play" together.
Through guided projects, students will explore new tools and techniques, experiment with various materials, and be introduced to both famous and lesser-known artists. This class emphasizes creative confidence, joyful discovery, and the magic of making art in a supportive studio environment. Projects stretch from 2D to 3D! Dates for the winter session of "Young Creators" classes are: 1/9/26, 1/23, 2/6, 2/20, 3/6, 3/20, and a bonus class on 4/10
The "Young Creators" class is taught by 2 dedicated art teachers with 30+ years teaching experience between them. We believe in trying to keep our Teacher/Student ratios at 1 to 7, maximum. Having two teachers allows us to dive deeper into certain areas when a child is enthralled and move forward with others when the need arises. We love to be flexible and take the students outside when nice weather allows and having 2 teachers keeps things moving along. Please email Tracy with any questions at FreeRangeArtClasses@gmail.com. Cost:
The "Young Creators "Homeschool Art Enrichment classes are each $29.00, but we are offering them in a discounted block of 6 sessions for $144/student ($24/class). This will provide value to those of you who might need to travel and miss an occassional class. Plus, there is a FREE bonus class at the end of the season, too!
Illness:
If your child is unable to attend due to illness, please contact us. Please keep in mind that there is also a bonus class offered to help with missed "young creators" classes!
