Kids Mini Camp! Rainbow Connection: Crochet, Color & Creativity! Mon. 6/29 10-4
Kids Crochet Mini Camp Day - The Rainbow Connection: June 29th, 10am - 4pm Ages 7+
If your child loves colorful projects, learning new skills, and creating with their hands, Rainbow Connection is the perfect day of creativity and fun! For kids 7 and up who want to learn crochet or have a little experience and want to learn more!
Throughout the day, students will learn beginner-friendly crochet techniques from instructor Eiren Graver, as they create their own Rainbow Pocket Pal - a cheerful handmade keepsake that can be tucked into a pocket, displayed in their room, or enjoyed as a small sensory companion or fidget toy. Along the way, they'll learn foundational crochet skills such as making a magic circle, crocheting in the round, changing yarn colors, and following a simple pattern.
Between crochet sessions, students will explore the magic of watercolor through playful color-mixing experiments and rainbow-inspired painting activities. We'll discover how colors blend and interact while creating beautiful watercolor artwork to take home.
This camp is designed to be relaxed, encouraging, and beginner-friendly, giving children the opportunity to slow down, focus, and experience the satisfaction of crocheting something from start to finish. By the end of the day, your child will leave with new creative skills, increased confidence, a handmade crochet Rainbow Pocket Pal, and colorful watercolor artwork.
All materials included. Please send your child with a packed lunch and a water bottle.

How to Find Us!
Some people say we're a "hidden gem", and we kind of like that! We're close to major roads and some of the area's best shopping/dining, yet we are right off some of the most beautiful rural roads in southeastern PA. We are located at 381 Brinton Lake Road, Thornton, PA 19373.
We are located behind the historic Mill (the Offices at the Mill). When you enter the parking lot, immediately turn right and go behind the main building. We are a short drive down the gravel lane and are in the smaller "Carriage House Collective" building behind the main building. We are on the 2nd floor!
Our studio is up the exterior staircase! We can't wait to welcome you or your children to our cozy space!
About the Artist/Instructor:
Eiren Graver has been teaching creative subjects for over 20 years. An accomplished artist, you can find Eiren's paintings locally, and she is also a gifted instructor. Teaching hand-sewing, embroidery, knitting, and more at the Free Range Art Studio, Eiren has gained traction as one of our beloved and trusted teachers with the kids and adults! She believes that creative expression is a human right and that everyone has something beautiful inside them, waiting to be created. She creates a relaxed and supportive environment for her classes. We are so honored to have Eiren teaching for us and know you will learn so much through her workshops.
