The 2026 winter/spring 6-week session starts January 30th, 2026!
Project-Based Multimedia Art for Older Homeschool Students with an emphasis on thinking outside the box!
In this hands-on art class, older homeschool students will explore project-based learning through a variety of multimedia materials while gaining a deeper understanding of the elements of art.
During Weeks 1 and 2, students will be introduced to the main project theme and its inspiration. They'll learn about real-world designers, experiment with new materials, and complete smaller skill-building exercises that support the larger creative process.
In the following weeks, students will apply their new knowledge to develop a major project or two - combining technique, creativity, and design thinking. The focus will be on creating functional art pieces that are bold, unique, and truly jaw-dropping!
Dates for the Tween/Teen WINTER/SPRING "Outside the Box" Art Classes are: 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, (no class 2/27), 3/6, 3/13, and a free bonus class on 3/20/26!
*Believe it or not, the 3/20 class will be the last regularly scheduled "Outside the Box" teen art class for this spring and then we will be offering a variety of skill-building homeschool art workshops on Friday afternoons for the expanded age group of ages 10+. Each week will be listed individually with a skill and material emphasized at each workshop! (Coming Soon!)

Afternoon classes: These classes are 2 hours long and were originally $35/student per class. Due to demand and to have consistency in the students attending, we now only offer a 6-week package (with a free 7th class) for a discounted rate of $156/6 classes ($26/class/student plus the free class). Hopefully, the package with a free 7th class will add value for those families who might miss classes due to travel and other commitments... providing you with up to 7 classes at a discounted price.
The bonus class will be used to finish up any missed work and/or another 2D painting/drawing project will be provided as an option, too. Due to the discount and opportunities to make up missed work at the free bonus class, no refunds will be given. We hope you understand!
Timing: The studio will be open and students can be dropped off at 12:15. They are welcome to bring snacks or lunch and eat in the studio provided we do not have any students with food allergies. Class is from 12:30-2:30.
