PONY PALS MINI CAMP

Ages 5–13
Calling all horse lovers! Spend the day making a stuffed pony, creating, imagining, and caring for your very own pony friend and making accessories for him/her.
 
Each child will hand-stuff a large 14" spotted pony and bring it to life with a unique personality of its own. Young makers will design and create special accessories for their pony using materials such as leather, metal embellishments, ribbons, and other creative supplies. They'll also build and decorate a personalized cardboard stall where their pony can rest and feel right at home.  They can use our chomp saw and other cardboard cutting tools to fabricate a cardboard stall door, fencing, or other accessories for their pony's stall.  We will talk about the items that might be needed in a stall and make grooming supplies, food, and tools from polymer clay.  Showing them the real items, we will discuss how to approach making them in miniature.
 
Throughout the day, campers will enjoy horse-themed art projects, including painting on canvas and creating decorative elements inspired by life around the stable. From crafting tack and accessories to painting and decorating their pony's space, every project encourages creativity, storytelling, and imaginative play.
 
Pack a lunch and have your child join us for a day filled with art, horses, and hands-on "making" as we create a one-of-a-kind pony companion to take home and cherish!
Please send a packed nut-free lunch and a water bottle.
All materials are included.
