Next 6-week session begins January 16th, 2026!Studio Explorers is designed for homeschool students ages 7–10 who are ready to dive deeper into the art-making process. Each session features a new project inspired by art history, world cultures, or a creative theme. Students will be introduced to various techniques such as painting, sculpture, collage, and printmaking, with plenty of room for personal expression.
This class encourages critical thinking, artistic exploration, and a deeper understanding of the stories and styles behind the art.
Perfect for curious kids who love to create and want to learn more about the "why" behind what they make! Dates for the Winter 2026 Studio Explorers Classes are: 1/16, 1/30, 2/13, 2/27, 3/13, 3/27, and a free bonus class/makeup class on 4/17 (there is an additional Friday 'off' in there for the Easter/Spring week, and we are closed on Good Friday)
(*We will also be offering a homeschool Spring Mini Camp special event for blended age ranges from 5-10 years on Friday, April 24th from 10-12:30)
The "Young Creators" class is taught by 2 dedicated art teachers with 30+ years teaching experience between them. We believe in trying to keep our Teacher/Student ratios at 1 to 7, maximum. Having two teachers allows us to dive deeper into certain areas when a child is enthralled and move forward with others when the need arises. We love to be flexible and take the students outside when nice weather allows and having 2 teachers keeps things moving along. Please email Tracy with any questions at FreeRangeArtClasses@gmail.com. Cost, Illness, and Other Info:
The "Studio Explorers" Homeschool Art Enrichment classes are each $29.00, but we are offering them in a discounted block of 6 sessions for $144/student ($24/class). Plus, there is a FREE bonus class at the end of the season, too! Hopefully, this will provide value to those of you who might need to travel and miss an occasional class.
Illness:
If your child is unable to attend due to illness, please get in touch with us. Please keep in mind that a bonus class is also offered to help with missed "Studio Explorers" classes!
