An immersive watercolor class for the more advanced young artist
Join Heather Carey for 5-week bi-weekly classes where kids dive into both essential watercolor techniques and surprising, approachable methods .
If your child is interested in learning more about watercolor paints in a new and engaging way, have them join Heather Carey at the studio for five biweekly classes! In this more advanced after-school class, they will explore both essential watercolor techniques and surprising, approachable methods. This is the perfect class for kids who are excited to learn, practice, and explore watercolor as a true art form. Students should be interested in specifically honing and developing their abilities using watercolor paints.
This class is designed for young artists who genuinely enjoy painting and specifically want to grow their watercolor skills. It's a relaxed, supportive environment - but with a focus on learning real techniques and skills. Each session offers fresh inspiration, new skills, and plenty of room for creative exploration.
The session includes 5 weeks for $160 plus a 6th class free.

Missed Classes:
We understand that schedules can be tricky! Because of the nature of our classes, materials, and timing, we’re not able to offer refunds for missed sessions. However, we’ve scheduled an additional class at the end of the session, bringing you a free 6th class. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing the wonderful art your child creates!
